I have checked the catalyst and the fuel pump

My nissan sentra car starts but when raising the turtle engine goes off. I have checked the catalyst and is alright, what other thing could cause it?

Start by checking for vacuum leaks. Check the idle air control valve. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free.
