2000 Mercury Sable heater problems

Heater blows cool air replaced blend door actuator because a mechanic said that was problem the air is hot but when fan is turned on goes back cool. Was told it may be a air lock in the block please help I am cold

When I had that problem with my Sable I had the coolant system back flushed by a radiator shop and had plenty of heat after that.

Try bleeding the system. If that doesn't help, flush the heater core.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
