(1) The clutch, when depressed for so long as in long traffic jam situation, suddenly fails. (Slacks and remains down) After some pumping, it becomes firm again by it self.

(2) the car when started has a high revv. One has to adjust the rev from the engine manually. It seems the accelerator cable does not return up fully when depressed. Please help. Its a mercedes clk 230 kompressor. Thnks

Hi there, I beleave that your master or slave cylinder sill have perished so are letting fluid get past them, or letting air into the system, try beeding from the slave system on the bellhousing if the peddle improves then you should replace both parts as it wont take long for the air to get back into the system, I wish you luck it is a easy fix to save the money.
