Poor idle

2000 exbedition has a very poor idle, I have goon though everything but the control valve although I do have a po171 and po174 and I am thinking the valve is causing the codes. The truck runs well otherwise. At times the truck will completely stall. Am I on the right track to clean the valve?

Lean fuel condition could be caused by one of the following below:

1. Vacuum leaks
2. EGR and PCV valve.
3. Low fuel pressure.
4. Dirty fuel injectors.
5. Mass Air Flow Sensor.
6. Oxygen Sensor.

Thanks for getting back to me so soon.
I've checked vacuum, new pcv fuel pressure reg. Last summer new plugs last summer and new now all we like new cleaned maf. New 02's last year checked all coils new idle motor. I'm running out of clues, unless I just didn't find the vaccum it could be egr I cleaned the throddle body that was all gummed up. It has lots of power after that was cleaned. Still idles rough.
