I have almost no brakes, The brakes are hard as if the engine is not running. So if I put the clutch in, almost no brakes.
How do I go about testing to see if the booster is faulty or whether it is the vacuum pump. Can a leeking hose cause such a problem?

Check for a leaking vacuum around booster then replace the check vavle on the end of hose to booster. Make sure it is getting vacuum. A lot of times its the valve has gone bad on the booster. The booster if leaking may have a sucking sound inside car.
