I've just replaced a radiator fan relay successfully in a 2000 Dodge Caravan 4cyl but now the "check engine" light comes on and stays on. The light was not on prior to the relay fan replacement. What can be causing this and is the engine light issue related to relay fan repair? Perhaps I should have replaced the thermostat as well but didn't because the light wasn't on before the relay fan work.

Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Thanks sincerely,
Chrisxx

Get a scan done to retrieve the trouble code to understand what is wrong. Most parts outlets provides free sanning services.

Let me know the EXACT trouble code so I can get the relevant information for you.
