When in 4 wheel drive my truck does this sticking of the wheels when I am turning at slow speeds. Once and awile it has a grinding noise.

There are a type of universal/constant velocity joint that handle a lot of torque when you are in 4 wheel drive and turning. Each wheels is turning at the same speed but the tighter the turn, the more distance the outside wheel has to cover. These joints have started to fail and need to be replaced.
