Sirs, friday I attempted a tune up on my sons '00 malibu. Could not replace fuel filter because line was rusted pretty bad and I didn't want to break line at home. Replaced air filter, plugs and wires. He tells me today that the ses light is flashing. During work we noticed two different lines, I assume vaccumn lines that were cracked. Our only solution at the time was to tape them together. What could be wrong? Thank you, Mark

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
