I have a Toyota Noah 1AZ VVI engine that loses accelerating power when I step on the gas.
Spark plugs and coils, pump, throttle sensors where checked and nothing came up.

Hi,

Does it do this all the time? Have you checked fuel pressure to confirm it isn't low?

The idea that power loss is experienced the harder you press on the throttle leads me to think there may not be enough fuel getting to the engine.

Here is a link that explains how to check fuel pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend you one.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hey. Thank you for the reply.

They checked the pump. Other things, I am not sure. I will ask the guy that was working on it to type what he has and has not checked this far, he will be happy to learn. I am happy.

Hi,

Let me know what he tells you. Also, have him check the engine coolant temp sensor signal to make sure it is working properly.

If possible, ask him what the short-term fuel trims are. That will help me determine if there is a fuel pressure issue.

Take care,

Joe
