Coolant level indicator lights flash even after its filled to the right level as indicated on the reservoir box. Could this mean a leak somewhere? The engine is NOT overheating beyond the 1/4 mark on temp gauge.

iF SO, WHERE SHOULD WE BEGIN TO LOOK FOR THE PROBLEM?

I can just see the dollars adding up as a mechanic tries to replace various parts without knowing what's actually wrong.
I am senior woman and so vulnerable in this area. PLEASE HELP!

If the level correct and the light is on check and see if the back up light fuse is blown? That will make the light stay on. If that is good unplug the coolant bottle and jump the two terminals of the connector without opening the terminals. Then turn the key on and see if the light goes out you need to replace the coolant bottle. Pretty easy to trouble shoot the light staying on.
