If I take my car to a pontiac dealership to have the intake manifold gasket replaced, what should I expect to pay? I have read former questions on this site, and see my problem. I have a p0507 code and trac light goes off and on form time to time. I replaced the idle sensor, code comes back.

Hello,

If your vehicle is a 4 cylinder it calls for 1.2 hours of labor. If it is a 6 cylinder it is 6.3 hours of labor.
Those gaskets typically cost $20.00 to $60.00 depending on the engine.

As for the total cost, it will depend on the shop rate. The shop rate is different depending on where you take it to and your location.

The P0507 can be triggered due to wiring issues as well. I have attached the troubleshooting steps for that code below.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
