How to flush and fill cooling system?

Should thermostat be changed if over 5 years old? 4.0 Northstar engine.

Hello,

It is not required to replace the thermostat for this.
But it can be changed while flushing the cooling system so you will know that the component is new.

This vehicle uses 13 quarts of coolant.
