Engine swap out?

I have a 99 eclipse with a 2.0L non turbo. I threw a rod the other day and put a hole in my block. Im trying to find out if I can swap it out for a 2.4L from a galant. Can I swap it out?

Yes, you can replace it, but we only recommend direct fit parts. Make sure to get the same year and make engine.

Okay also I was goona use that header from that 2.0l. Im gonna get it bored, ported and polished. Will that work? Aslo any recomedations on a clutch under $100? Also awhat rebuild kit would you recomend?

That will work. As far as the clutch, a clutch kit is around 300. Replace it all since the engine will already be out.
