1999 Mercury Mystique 99 Mercury Mystique wont start

I stoped at a red light and car started to run rough and had no power held gas pedal to floor and wouldn't do anything not even rev up engine but didn't die until I pushed off the road. It started back up and still ran rough with no power eventually car wouldn't start at all. Already checked Cadillac converter, fuel pump ( can hear it running), and replaced the fuel filter.

If the car won't start, check to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine. NOTE: The pump may be running but not producing enough pressure. Also, you can cheat and see if it starts with starting fluid. If it does, then the problem is fuel related.

Replaced the fuel pump, car still didn't start. I pulled gas line off from filter to see if gas was getting to it and its just dribbling out, so I tryed squirting gas into throdle body and still nothing.

Got fuel to injectors now but car still won't start going to put it on a code reader if you think of anything your help is appreciated.

Jason:

If you have proper fuel pressure to the rail, check to see if you are getting spark to the plugs. If you are, check the injectors using a noid light.

I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, crank sensor and the computer. Car is getting fuel an fire still have same issue.

Will it start if you use starting fluid? Have you checked for spark to the plugs?
