1999 Mercury Cougar keeps dying randomly.

Hey my cougar has brand new alternator and battery. Both still test good. But ill be driving and my gauges will cut off l. Then loose all power. Is this a wiring related issue? Now so you know my tach usually goes out firat then Speedo. Then the whole car looses power. But after this my hazards still work?

Check the two relays in pic for corrosion and good contact then check fuses for same in pic. Make sure terminal ends are clean on battery. Also if you have anti theft make sure that it is in good order as this may cause it as well.
