Air on my 99 jeep grand cherokee doesn't blow at all when turned to high. Its like you turn the air to off when I turn it on high. I can't hear any air blowing at all? Any suggestions

hot or cold the air just shuts off when turned to the high position. The hole thing goes completely quiet

Hello,

It sounds like you might have a faulty blower motor resistor.
The blower motor resistor is mounted on the blower motor housing, and it controls the speed of the fan.
A faulty resistor can allow only a certain speed to work, could be the low speed or the high speed.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
