Car wants to run hot?

When driving vehicle and becoming idle at traffice light vehicle begin to escalate up to running hot. When I begin to drive it seems to level off. Also, when I turn on a/c it has a loud shaking sound. What can be causing these problems?

Does the cooling fan come on when you are stopped and the vehicle is over-heating? If not, you must diagnose why the fan doesn't come on.

Some typical culprits are the fan switch and a faulty fan motor.
