Will not start it will act like it is flooded and backfire?

Car will not start it will act like it is flooded and backfire fron the engien. Have replaced, heads and seals, sparkplugs and wires, thermostat water pump and battery. Any ideal what it might be?

Hello,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the crank position sensor.

If you have a faulty crank sensor the engine might crank but it will not get started due to incorrect signal provided by the sensor.
When a crank sensor goes bad it may or may not trigger the check engine light.
The crank position sensor is located on the bottom part of the engine.
It is next to the crank shaft pulley.
