You sure the brakes are not locking up and transmission is not slipping? If both okay -check the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.

Just got my 99 F150 back again today. It wont even start. Really tries to. U can smell gas bad while ur trying to start it. Mechanic said that he had it narrowed down to the cylinder head temp sencor or the ECM. Where is the cylinder head temp sencor located at on this 99 F150 4.6 automatic 2 WD.

Take the air filter off and pour fuel in the throttle body. If it fires you no the engines good and its a fuel issue.I can help you but youll need to do as I ask. If this engine starts leaking fuel your are looking for a engine fire.

FROM WHAT I HAVE READ, THIS PUPPY WILL RUN!

JUST NOT VERY WELL, AND WE SMELL FUEL. LIKE TOO MUCH FUEL. LIKE DROWNING IN FUEL.

HADN'T SEEN NOTHING ABOUT WHAT FUEL PRESSURE ACTUALLY IS

CAN YOU TEST THAT, AND LET US KNOW?

MAYBE IT'S TOO HIGH OVERWHELMING THE INJECTORS?

WE'RE HERE TO TRY TO HELP

KEEP US INFORMED

If I am looking in the right place on the drivers side rail. Theres a place that looks like a valve stem. I opened that with the key on and just a squirt cam out. Gonna unhook the new filter again in the morning and see what happens like that. Already put a new fuel pump and filter on. Hard to beleive could be bad

Cadieman SORTA WANTS SOME NUMBERS, LIKE WITH A GAUGE INSTALLED, TURN THE KEY TO ON. READ NUMBER!

MINE IS SORTA PRIMITIVE!

I MADE IT FOR OIL PRESSURE TESTS

ADD A FITTING, AND "PRESTO"!

INSTANT "NELSOMATIC DUEL PURPOSE GAUGE ASSEMBLY". Patent is not pending

AND GET THIS. THE BEST PART. IT WORKS FOR BOTH. WHAT A DEAL!
