1999 Ford Explorer Cluster Flickering

Hello,

My Instrument Cluster will flicker while driving at night along with the other panel lights. The lights will dim down and then dim back up, and will do this only after driving for a while. While they dim down and back up, my gauges will work just fine(Can watch the speedometer move normally, while the lights flicker) Could this be a bad instrument panel dimmer switch?

If it's only interior dash illumination and nothing outside the car, yes, it could be the dimmer control. Does playing with it when this happens change anything.

It just changes the dim level, and thats it. It will only flicker at the brightest setting and only after a while too.
