1999 Ford Expedition transfer case

Its an AWD. The transfer case went bad from different size tires. Is there anyway to temporarily get rid of the hopping around the truck does until I get it correctly fixed? ( Like disconnecting the front drive shaft possibly?)

You are correct. You can disconnect the front drive shaft. However keep in mind that damage may have already occurred. You maybe looking at transfercase replacement in the future. Also, by disconnecting the front driveshaft, your vehicle will only be Rear Wheel Drive. Snow isnt far away, so keep in mind this is temporary.
