1999 ford expedition replaced battery 3 months ago would not start just clicking noise when I turned the ignition lights on my running board flashed and stayed on. Do I need to replace battery gain or starter or alternator

Car started only after recieving a jump from another vechicle last night, this morning my running board lights were on and car would not start again and when I hit the alarm it just made a faint sound
