1999 Dodge Intrepid Coolant leak

Just changed water pump and timing componants on 2.7 liter water pump is brand new not a remanufactured got it all back together added coolant and noticed leak between block and trans. Pulled cover off flywheel but couldnt see here leak is coming from its on passenger side.

It's probably running down from the top. Check under the intake and the back of the engine carefully. Use a mirror if you have to.

Thanks I found the problem. It was the bleeder housing the rubber gaskets were shot and water was seeping out of it and running to the back of the block. Stay tuned though it is one of those dodge 2.7 litters with all of the problems!

That housing is a common leak source. The dealer sells the replacement. It comes with a pipe attached.

Service manuals aren't free but you can get a single car subscription from Alldatadiy very cheap.
