1999 Chevrolet Suburban backfire slow start

I have a 1999 Chevrolet suburban and problems that it has is backfiring a lot smells bad gas when driving doesnt speed up like it should rpm goes to 4000 on 30 miles an hour and just pops and pops like gun shot

Are the spark plugs soaked in fuel? They had a problem with the fuel injector spiders on those.

No I haven't checked that but when we had a tune up done it still has the same problem backfires after backfires and they showed me the old spark plugs yes they were wet and burnt

Theres a good chance you have a bad fuel injection spider see if the plugs are soaked in fuel.
