I turn on my heater on 1999 monte carlo, and blows out cold air

With the engine running, hot, and the heater on, feel both heater core hoses. If both are hot, check and repair the blend door. IF only one gets hot, flush the heater core.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
