1999 Chevy Malibu starts and dies.
Friend gave me Innova Scanner and this is what I got.
"No Powertrain DTCs or Freeze Frame Data is presently stored in vehicle's computer. Press the DTC to view your Enhanced or ABS DTCs."
I pressed DTC and it gave me all this:
"U100
U1064
P0141 o2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
P1626 Theft Deterrent System Fuel Enable Circuit
P1630 Theft Deterrent System/PCM/VCM in Learn Mode
P1631 Theft Deterrent System Password Im Proper
P1632 Theft Deterrent System Fuel Disabled".

I did 10 minute re-learn password, but nothing helped.

The Passlock(tm) system is designed to prevent vehicle theft by disabling the engine, unless a mechanical key is used to correctly engage the Passlock(tm) lock cylinder. System components include ignition switch, Passlock(tm) lock cylinder, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and BCM.

Following scan tool manufacturer's instructions, clear all DTCs. With transmission in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T), turn ignition switch to START position. Vehicle should start and then stall. Leave ignition in RUN position (engine off) until SECURITY indicator light turns off (about 10 minutes). Turn ignition off for 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. You may have to repeat 1st step up to 3 times
