Won't charge battery and alternator test good

So you tested the alternator before installing it?Also do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

Advane auto tests both rebuilt and old alternantor and thry tested good

The alternator is good but when disconnet the battery it shuts off

If the old alternator was good why did you change it?Also you should never unhook the battery on a car with a computer you can damage the computer. We need to check the power feeds to the alternator.

Hello, like the other tech said you shouldn’t disconnect the battery with the motor running on newer computer cars because the computer senses the voltage to set other things with the motor. But since you did and the motor stalled that would indicate the system is open and this is telling us that you have a bad fuse or fusible link. If a fuse is bad it will have a blown fuse in the fuse box under the hood by the battery and if a fusible link it will be off the back of the alternator or down off the starter motor to the battery, this is a main wire and it will have a smaller wire connected to a heaver wire; this is the fuse part of the wire.
