My car shut off while driving and set for a week I started today it ran for 15 mins then shut off again what could be causing this I was told that it could be my fuel system or my coil what do you think

Either system, fuel or ignition, can cause the engine to die. Does it restart when this happens? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? Have you checked to see if there is spark to the plugs if it doesn't restart?
