The security light keeps coming on sometimes when I go to start my car and it wont start. If I wait ten minutes then it will start. Does anyone know why? It does that about once a week

Cranks but does not start, like no fuel present? Have you been able to have it scanned for codes. There are a couple codes that may set, relevant to fuel enable system concerns, P1626 fuel enable lost, and P1629 fuel enable not received. This may provide a direction in which to go in. This should be available to a code reader, so an auto parts store may do it for free.

More than likely, fuel is being disabled. Possible faults are the theft deterrent module in the column, and the PCM. Have the codes read first.
