1998 Nissan Maxima Problem

I own a 1998 Nissan Maxima GLE. I have observed severally that the car just switches off while accelerating but the dash board light remains on. It will take some time before the car starts again. Secondly, the battery runs down if I don’t remove the battery head or terminal. Please what could be responsible for these?

As far as the battery problem, check for electrical draws. Directions are on our homepage under the DIY section.

As far as the engine, check fuel pump pressure.

Check the ignition switch-it could be failing. Also you have a short somewhere that's draining the battery
