I have a 1998 Nissan Altima and it is smoking even when it is not over heating. The coolant is full. Although what seemed to have started this was when my car overheated and I checked and it was out of coolant. Ever since it smokes sometimes and it smells sweet when it's smoking and I also noticed that I am leaking coolant. I tried some 'Stop leak'. But I wasn't sure if the leaking was my radiator cap or due to me accidently over filling the coolant.

Where is the smoke coming from? Is the smoke white? Where under the car are the puddles it is leaking? Was any recent work or tinkering done? How often do you add coolant (and how much)?
