1998 Mitsubishi Galant starting problems

Car has moments when it just doesnt want to start the problem seems to be more in the ignition than the starter. Sometimes when it doesnt start I have to try and jump it and it starts right up Ican feel it in the ignition when I turn my key that something just isnt catching right. Please any sufgwstions will help. M-laws@hotmail. Com

If the problem was the ignition system, chances are it wouldn't make any difference if you jump start it. When it doesn't start for you, check to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine (if the engine is turning over with the starter).
