1998 ford taurus - The engine jerks and the a noise is coming from the exhaust pipe when I start my car it starts making the noise and when I put the car in drive or reverse the noise gets louder and the shake gets harder also the exhaust pipe has a noise coming from it

Check the catalytic converters for signs of the bed inside being broken up. Bang on them with a rubber mallett, rattles will be heard if its broken inside.

You need to find out where the noise is coming from. Seems like you have a misfiring and it could be a loose spark plug.
