ABS light will not go off and the suv will not.

Abs light will not go off and the suv will not accelerate very well and when you take your foot off the gas pedal it slows down as if you were applying the brakes and if put in drive out of park the wheels will not move unless the gas pedal is applied.

You have a brake problem either the caliper has frozen or the brake master cylinder is engaging the brakes. You are going to need a brake inspection a wheel has lock up this is the reason also for the ABS light being on
