Have 98 b1500 pickup, v8, auto, 4x4. Recent complete tune up, seafoam, etc. Engine runs fine except after initial warm up. Starts and warm up idles fine, but even after 10-15 minute (very cold in buffalo lately) warm up. Stalls when put into gear. Will stall a few times then no problem rest of day. Have a good mechanic. We havent tried to tackle this as we were fixing more priority repairs. He wants to try IAC or possible coolant sensor.

Either the iac or temp sensor can be the problem. However, since you just tuned it up, check for simple things like vacuum leaks. Also, make sure the EGR is clean (as well as the intake) and working properly.
