My chrysler stratus 98 model V6 2.5ltrs engine 2 of the sparkplug use to soak with oil and cause the engine to misfire and fuel consumption very high, my mechanic said I shld buy another engine, is there no other alternative than buying another engine? All your trouble may be caused by oil leaking past the spark plug tube O-rings. You should change the valve cover gaskets (which includes replacing the spark plug tube O-rings) and do a tune up. This will stop your engine from missing and improve your fuel economy.
