No start

I have a friend who has the truck listed above 1500. The truck started once this morning then shut off when put in gear. Now it won’t start at all just cranks over. I scanned for codes and found nothing. Does anyone know what it could be? It would be very helpful thanks!

Hi,

It is most likely a bad fuel pump.
You can confirm with a fuel pressure test.

Let us know what you find out.

When you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds?
