I have a chevy I was driving it and turned it off and it would not start back up but turned over full power. After 10 min it started and I drove it shut down completely when I was doing about 50 mph with no warning and then it just started back?
Do you

Next time it refuses to start don't wait for it to make up its mind-do below immediately to determine if its fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, Do you hear the fuel pump come On when you turn key on? If not check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay if okay-check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing

You keep sending me the same responses. Iam telling you the fuel pump comes on and I already changed all the coils module it is fuel related because when I spray starting fluid in it it starts right up.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge and comeback with the readings, fuel pump coming on, don't tell nothing give me readings and then I'll to continue to help-

when I spray starting fluid in it it starts right up.? Low fuel pressure-if there's no spark you can spray all day long and nothing is gonna happen-

Today it shut off as I was at the stoplight. It took longer then usually today to start it it seemed as though it was out of gas. The fuel pressure is exactly where it should be that has been checked. There is spark like you informed me to check. The spark in the coil packs right? They have been changed already and spark is there.
