I have a major oil leak in a 97 VW Jetta GL. It is coming from the fixture that the oil filter screws into. When the car is started the oil is coming out of " A" where the top round piece connects with the square fixture that the oil filter screws into. I'm pretty sure that I need to remove "B" and replace a seal of some sort. Or maybe I need to replace the whole fixture. I have a Haynes manual, but it doesnt have any diagram for this that I can find. I need to know the name of the parts that are shown in the picture and if anyone can tell me the easiest way to fix this problem that would help a lot. Thanks.

You need to replace the oil cooler seal. To gain access to the
seal, you need to remove the oil filter, the mounting nut for the
cooler and then drop the cooler down to be able to remove the seal.

Picture is attached.
