Engine Mechanical problem
2003 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 144000 miles
Purchasing a 2003 Jetta with a slight oil leak. The engine already had timing belt & water pump changed at 105,000.
Can anyone help assess risk & possible repair of the leak?

Where exactly is the oil leaking front of eng rear top side?

Only sure thing is that it appears it is not coming from the front or the top.
I assumed that they had the head off at 105K when the timing belt & water pump was changed. However, that was 40,000 miles ago.
