Won't fire

Car has been sitting in Toms River NJ (salt air) for 8 months. Battery long dead but with jump can hear fuel pump work and cranks fine but pull a 2 plugs and no spark. Previous to this it worked fine--it was my mothers car and well serviced. Also I donated to update question with out knowing what I was doing. If I get a reasonable answer to this I will donate more.

Bad batteries will cause a bunch of problems, try a nother battery first or lcharge the one in the car. Then see what happens. Otherwise go to tune up under diy on the site here it will walk you through how to check your ignition system. Also fue press ure must be 41-47 psi to run the car. So check fuel pressure.
