No power to fuel pump, it quit while being.

No power to fuel pump, it quit while being driven. Took fuel pump out and hooked power to it and it ran, but won't run in the car. Checked relays and fuses that could be found. Do you have any other ideas or do you think the fuel pump could be bad even though it ran when checked?

Check all fuses with a test light

you most likely killed the pump by running it out of fuel as it is the lube for the motor
