When the car is in motion, the speedometer will be fluctuating and sometime comes to normal. And when the engine is running, the battery logo still appears on the dashboard even when the alternator is disconnected, and sometimes goes off and re-appear, what is the fault and how to correct it? Pls tell me

Never disconnect the battery while its running you can damage the computer. Have the battery and alternator tested sounds like a bad alternator.

The alternator and battery are ok when tested. We did not disconnect the battery, it is only the alternator plug that was disconnected and the battery logo was still on, and when driving, the speedometer fluctuate

When the battery light is on is that when the speedometer acts up?If so what is the voltage at the battery when the battery light is on?

No, the speedometer malfunction on its own, sometimes it stop deflecting and sudenling it will now work normal. As for the alternator indicator light, when unplug the light is not suppose to show, but in this case when the plug is removed the light is still on, after sometime it will goes off and re-appear. Is there bridging along the line? Or is it normal for the light to be on even when the alternator plug is disconnected?
