Answers for 1997 Lincoln Town Car temp indicator light stays at coldest setting and eventually the motor will die. It will start back up and the temp goes to normal and everything works fine. Suggestions?

If the engine is warming up, have the temp sending unit checked. If the computer thinks it is cold, it will run a rich fuel mixture that can cause the engine to run poorly or die.
