I replaced fuel pump in the gas tank now it backfires on takeoff. What would cause this?

Idols a little rough, backfires on takeoff, then smoothes out.

Check your fuel pressure to see if it's within spec and clean the throttle plate with choke cleaner on both sides. Also check for a hole in duct work going to throttle plate and make sure all spark plugs are getting good spark.
