You need to remove the instrument cluster to get at the bulbs.

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
CAUTION:When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle.

Removal & Installation

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove light switch ****. Remove 2 upper retaining screws from instrument panel finish panel. Remove instrument panel finish panel.

2. Remove 4 retaining screws from instrument cluster. Pull cluster away from instrument panel. Disconnect cluster printed circuit connectors from receptacles in instrument cluster backplate. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.

CAUTION:If gauges are being removed from cluster assembly, DO NOT remove gauge pointer. Magnetic gauges cannot be recalibrated.

INDICATOR/WARNING BULBS
NOTE:
All indicators/warning bulbs are removed and installed in same way.

Removal & Installation
Turn miniature bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise to align tabs with slots in instrument cluster and pull bulb out of instrument cluster. To install, align tabs on miniature bulb with slots in instrument cluster and turn miniature bulb socket 1/4 turn clockwise until socket stops turning.
