I have a 97 ford explorer 5.0 engine and when I drive my car it makes a really bad grinding noise and popping sound. When I try to stop it grinds really bad to and feels like it doesnt want to stop but its only on the driver side. I had this problem before and it was my hub bearing but that was a while ago I was wondering could it be the same thing now?

Could be the wheel bearing again and also have the brake on that side checked-To include wheel looseness and excessive play, raise that side and check-pull on it
