I have a 97 ford contour. When the car is cold and you put it in gear to go and put on the gas the car boggs down. No power! Let up on gas and nurse down the road until it warms up, then it's fine.
I have installed new plugs, gas filter, air and crank case filters. I am running premium gas along with injector cleaner and I replaced the 0xygen sensor up stream due to code that was on OBD 2 system scaner after check engine light came on. I have cleared codes and still boggs down. When you are at a stop light it seams like it idels a little high and car shakes and rattles. Doe's this sound like a idle sensor or a MAFS. I'm not geeting anymore codes right now. I'm Picking my brain on this one.

Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
