Skipping transmission

Transmission was jumping gears before Christmas then afterward then it just starting acting right again then did again for couple days then back to normal been like since

Do you have a check engine light. A badly needed tune -up will affect the transmission operations

Have the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors checked and tested if okay-have it pressure tested to find out more.

Yes I do have one but didnt light up at all during that time. Been bout year since last tune up
