Can one of these reasons cause my car to cut off and not start back up for 2 or more hours
1. Leaky manifold gasket
2. Leaky vaccum hoses
3. Leaky pcv valve
4. Valve cover gasket

No none of those reasons. Have you checked for codes in the computer yet?

I would start with the P1674 thats the tach signal code which could cause a no start dieing etc. Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

I figured out the engine size from the p1674 thats the code I would start with that can cause a no start and dieing while driving. Do you have a multimeter?
